Luxury Diner – Cheyenne

We left Colorado and headed north to Wyoming. Why? Because I’d never been to Wyoming, and seeing as how it was so close, I thought we should check it out. Ugh. I don’t know about the rest of Wyoming, but there isn’t anything to do or see in Cheyenne. Even the landscape was blah. Just vast and flat and lifeless, like their downtown area. So we had to eat something, and we ended up at Luxury Diner. The name is funny because it’s so beyond not luxurious. But it is kind of cute.
Here’s S’s chef salad. We were still outmeated from the day before, so we were both craving vegetables. There are plenty of veggies here, but there’s also plenty of cheese and cold cuts. I don’t know where these mushrooms came from, but they must have been fed steroids.
I got a side salad instead of fries with my meal. Oh this salad was more than welcome in my belly. Crunchy fresh vegetables. My body had so missed them!
My main meal was a turkey club. Come on now, who doesn’t like a good ‘ol turkey club every now and then? And this turkey club was quite good! Service was friendly and the food showed up quick. But we were the only ones eating there. All in all, it was a nice, quick, and cheap little meal!
